As an artist known by the name ‘Trauma11o7,’ my musical style defies easy categorization, reflecting a versatility that draws inspiration from a blend of influences. While my sound carries a sense of reality and is heavy inspired by the articulate messaging of J. Cole, it also incorporates elements reminiscent of Don Toliver’s creative beat style, as well as the meticulous attention to detail exhibited by Zoocci Coke Dope and Dimodez, both esteemed recording artists and producers. Raised in Welkom until the the age of 11, where my early love for music blossomed through participation in school concerts and talent shows, my journey has been marked by both personal tragedy and and unwavering determination after the passing of my mother to cancer. Despite facing opposition from family members, I pursued my musical aspirations upon relocating to Bloemfontein during Grade 7. Now residing in Brandfort, I am deeply committed to not only establishing myself as a musician but also to carving a path in the business and corporate aspects of the music industry. Motivated by a desire to challenge perspectives and inspire change through various artistic mediums such as videography, dance, and most notably, music, I view music not only as a source of solace but as a powerful tool for shaping narratives and fostering growth.
